The Camden Public Library is offering a Book Sale in the new Book Shed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 8, 9, & 10 from 9:00 to 5:00 Friday and Saturday, and 9-4 on Sunday. The book sales are a significant part of the library’s annual fundraising for books and programs; in fact, the library raises over half of its operating expenses from book sales, donations, grants, and other such income! Happy Ninetieth Birthday! Monday, June 11, will mark ninety years to the day that the Camden Public Library first opened its doors on Main Street, in 1928. (It was a Monday, too!)
