Barbara Lawrence Book Launch

Barbara Kent Lawrence, author of Islands of Time, is launching a sequel called The Other Island: Ben’s Story. “In Islands of Time, Becky Granger, daughter of a prominent New York family visiting Maine for the summer, told her story about falling in love with Ben Bunker, islander from a family of Maine fishermen. Read and chat – entirely in Spanish! This Spanish language reading and conversation group  will continue on “second and fourth Tuesday” meetings  at 1:00 pm at the Camden Public Library. Simply Books! is the library’s book group for adults. Simply Books! is a book group designed for book lovers. There’s no set reading list, we don’t all read the same book, and it’s very informal. Cyber Sunday – Everyone Can 3D Print!

  May 28, 2pm – 3D Printing: Learn to design a simple bookmark using Tinkercad and have it printed same day. If there a lot of demand, some projects may need to be printed later in the week. Each participant will work on their own design. This class requires that you bring your own laptop, not another mobile device. We have a couple of laptops that can be borrowed.
