Children’s Book Week

May 1-6, 2017 —With a new theme every day, Miss Amy will dress up in colorful costumes, bringing to life favorite literary  characters. Special stories and activities are held all week. Look for displays of Maine children’s authors and illustrators, and  celebrate the talent in our own state.

May 1st –  “Dreams is full of mystery and magic . . . Do not try to understand them.”

May 2nd- “and she loved a little boy very, very much , even more than she loved herself”

May 3rd- “star or no star, we like you the way you are”

May 4th – “for lunch one day, frankfurters, already in their rolls, blew in from the northwest at about five miles an hour.”
